The Bible app's 1.1.5 release features better search, user interface, and other improvements

The Android Bible App that debuted just a couple weeks ago has been updated with a few goodies we know you’ll enjoy.

Here’s what you have to look forward to in Bible.is for Android 1.1.5, with much more in the works.

  • Enhanced search experience. Results are more accurate, and searches span the entire Bible, not just the currently selected Testament.
  • ESV Text enhanced and updated. ESV text has been improved thanks to user insights and bug fixing.
  • Improvements for Programs. Assignment navigation is more intuitive, so you have a clearer picture of your progress.
  • User Interface enhancements. The Bible bar on top is cleaner; the book/chapter selection button is improved, menu items have been improved
  • About screen. The About screen lets you know about the app and who’s behind it.
  • Notification enhancements. We’ve improved the way communicates to you if you don’t have an Internet connection, and other cases.
  • Various bug fixes. We tidied quite a few items that should make the app snappier and better all around.

Building on these enhancements, the next release will continue to improve in key areas as well as introduce new features users have requested. Our prayer is that Bible.is for Android continues to be the best way to read, listen to, and share the Bible on your Android device.
